INSTALLATION OF EXISTING VALVE ACTUATORS
In older plans, it is quite common to have manual valves in need of motorization. The cost for replacing such valves is significantly higher than the cost of having them motorized, especially as plants would need to halt their operations in order to allow such substitutions to be made. Motorizing valves consists in the following steps: sizing, mechanical adaptation (coupling design), installation and their start-of-operations.
